What Is The Subaru VIP Program?
The Subaru VIP Program is a Subaru of America, Inc. (SOA) Corporate program designed to provide the opportunity for participants to purchase or lease new Subaru vehicles for their personal use, through participating retailers at a discounted price.
How does the VIP Subaru Program work?
To participate in the Subaru VIP Program, participants must obtain a VIP Retailer Visit Authorization Form prior to contacting a retailer. Once eligibility has been verified SOA will send the VIP Retailer Visit Authorization form directly to the participant as an introduction to the retailer, SOA will also forward a copy of the authorization form directly to the retailer. The authorization form does not obligate the participant to purchase a Subaru. The intent of the form is to alert the retailer to the fact that the customer is entitled to the VIP offer.
Who is eligible to participate in the Subaru VIP Program?
VIP Retailer Visit Authorization forms will be issued only to the eligible participant, spouse or domestic partner residing in the same household (address verification will be required). The form is not transferable and does not extend to other relatives of the participant such as parents, siblings, children, etc.
Military Personnel & Educators
Eligible participants will need to be verified by our trusted partner ID.me. ID.me provides secure identity proofing, authentication, and group affiliation verification for government and businesses across sectors. The company's technology meets the highest federal standards. ID.me eligibility verification is mandatory. Customers who don’t have an ID.me account will need to create one and work with ID.me to ensure their account accurately reflects their eligibility. If a customer needs assistance with their ID.me account or verification or has questions, they should visit the ID.me Support page.
Can I combine more than one Subaru VIP Program offer?
No. Only one Subaru VIP program discount/offer can be applied per vehicle.
Is the offer transferable?
No. The Subaru VIP program is non-transferable and does not extend to eligible VIP customer's relatives such as parents, siblings, children, etc.
Can I visit more than one retailer?
We understand participants may need to visit more than one retailer to find their Subaru. Our team cannot provide participants with multiple forms to visit multiple retailers. We ask that participants present their active form to their sales associate when visiting additional retailers. If you need to update your partnered Subaru retailer after selecting your vehicle, please email vipprogram@subaru.com and we can reissue your form before you finalize your sale or lease.
How many vehicles can I lease or purchase using the VIP Program
Participants can lease or purchase a total of two vehicles per calendar year.
Are used Subaru vehicles eligible for the VIP Program?
No. VIP programs only apply to vehicles never titled, not previously reported sold, and generally have less than 500 miles. Retailer demos, SSLP, and used vehicles are excluded.
If I have already purchased a Subaru, can this special VIP Program pricing apply?
No. It is not the intention or purpose of the VIP Program to interfere with any pricing negotiations currently underway with a retailer and a customer who has previously contacted the retailer without an approved authorization form. In such situations, the program is not applicable. The special VIP Program pricing does not apply to sales made prior to the receipt of the approved VIP form.
Does my VIP Program Authorization Form expire?
Yes. VIP Authorization forms expire 45 days from the date issued.
What if my VIP Program Authorization Form expires and I now want to use it?
To renew a VIP Authorization Form, please email your renewal request and VIP Authorization Number to the VIP team at vipprogram@subaru.com.
